I remember when I first started, our union did walk the yard and talk with their members. People are pissed and have a right to be. How are the local chapters supposed to support this while this is going on? We can't. People are still pissed about the last convention on how cheap CCPOA was. They are saving their money for the "war chest" they said, but then folks see all these other things going on during the year. Not good guys.
The guys down in HQ's need to go to all the institutions and talk to their people. Have some kind of plan. Something. What are we doing? Sitting here waiting to get screwed more. People are loosing homes, loosing their families, loosing everything. This whole business puts so much stress on everybody, it puts a knot in your stomach. And then when you have somebody speak their mind, they get banned?
At CCC, CCSO atleast comes up twice a month to talk to their members. I think we are down to maybe four supervisors left for CCPOA. They are loosing members. Wake up guys. Do something. ANYTHING
The CCPOA Facebook site put out a post saying it will not allow blogs on it's site anymore. It will only put out information. You would think this would b a perfect tool for them to get the REAL DEAL from their members. But it seems nobody down in HQ's want to listen. That is the problem. They need to listen to the folks they are representing. WE can't even get them to come out to the institutions. Now we can't get them to listen to anybody on facebook?
Several of us (BOD) will stand behind Ian. If the EC decides to go after him, then they can come after the rest of us. For speaking our mind. Speaking the truth. For standing there for our brothers and sisters that we swore to stand for and protect.

Just so everyone knows I received the following message from Perry today..... "I have no intentions of attempting to stifle your opinion. I have disallowed comments so that you, and anyone else wishing to blog, would do so elsewhere. Be safe and again, thank you for your service and passion".
Well the problem I have with that Perry is that you banned me and deleted my messages long before you changed the settings and I see your "total ban" of messages as a pathetic way of trying to cover up your censorship efforts.
Simply put, you work for us, not the other way around and its time for you and a few others to start remembering that.
Your actions dictated mine so don't complain or try and and change what has happened. Like I said, get that Gold card ready because I could care less that Chuck probably promised you that you would get to stay in Sac if he takes over for Mike because there are plenty of us that have no intention of letting that happen.

I am with you also. This union is supposed to be an organization of "MEMBERS", but instead appears to be a corporation for the EC. We do only have 4 supervisory left and I can no longer blame them. There is a two fold equation to this whole mess and it equals politics and member apathy. We have too many aspiring politicians running this place and too many members that sit back and watch but do not have the heart to speak out. We also have too much "hang-on Baggage" in sac. They need to step up and do the job or step down so some one else can at least try to do the job. WE ARE THE UNION. Headquarters is supposed to work for us, not themselves! Censorship!! Hey are trying to get a position with Arnold like some of our former employees at DPA?
It use to be stated "step up to the plate and we have your back" what ever happened to this representation? Now it is how does this make us look (EC). If we look good then we can use it for our benifit. CCPOA's EC has not represented the members over the last 5+ years. The current EC should not have been left incharge of our membership. If the members have anything to say that goes against the puppet master (Mike Jimenez) he finds a way to try and shut them down, or discredit them buy any means neccessary using our dues for the costs. The membership needs to stand together and become active. The membership needs to make there chapters start doing the bidding of the chapter and if they do not the membership needs to remove those chapter delegates and replace them. The chapter deligates work for the members and do there bidding at the state board and the EV is to represent what the local chapters request not what they feel is the direction they want. The membership needs to read the SOP's and ALL members need to start the proceedings for a chapter 13 and remove the current EC. The membership also needs to find out who was actually elected to thier position and who was appointed. If there position was through appointment all the membership has to do is get rid of the President(MJ)and the appointed seat goes with him. ALL members need to STAND TOGETHER through these times not be wishy/washy or state that it will not make a difference. When the membership is 30,000 and only 10,000 if your lucky votes, is nothing more than shameful. If you do not vote and Participate then you deserve what's to came so if this is you stop belly aching and start making a difference.
