It is with regret that we report that Noel Morton Correctional Officer at Eel River Conservation Camp passed away yesterday after a long battle with cancer. Noel began his career with the Department in February 2000 as a Correctional Officer. In March 2003 he transferred to Eel River Conservation Camp where he continued to work until recently. He was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in November 2007. He leaves behind his wife Caroline and two children.
